Coasters Performing Arts Youth Grant
What is our youth grant?
Over the years Coasters, has supported a number of young people with their performing arts journey.
This year, the board have introduced the Coasters Performing Arts Youth Grant to assist Kāpiti youth to further their performing arts education and knowledge.
To qualify for the grant, you must meet the following criteria:
- Must be under the age of 20 as of 1 January 2024.
- Must live in the Kāpiti Coast district area.
- The grant must be put toward furthering the applicants performing arts knowledge. This can be in the form of performing arts training, attending a relevant experience or course, or any related fees.
- The grant can be applied to recent costs, or for costs yet to be incurred in the year of 2024.
- Applications will be accepted from everyone who meets the above criteria however preference will be given to applicants that have been, or currently are, actively involved in Coasters Musical Theatre.
Applications close 31 January 2024 and all applicants will be notified of the outcome by 20 February 2024.
The grant will be paid to the successful applicant in March 2024.
Youth Grant Application
To apply for the Coasters Performing Arts grant please complete the attached form, instructions are provided.
All forms must be received before 11.59pm, 31 January 2024. The applications will be assessed by the Coasters board and their decision is final. The successful applicant will be required to provide bank account details and a copy of current photo identification.
The successful applicant will be asked to make a small presentation to the board about the performing arts experience they gained with the use of the Coasters grant.
